Active Wizard Version Features

Creating Dynamic Workflows just became easier than ever before.

Active Wizard Version 3.8 features many new and exciting features.

  • Rules-Based Checklist
    • Administrators can define a rules based "to-do" checklist for a form, which will display to a user in streamline mode after filling out the form. For users that do not use the streamline mode, the to-do checklist appears via a link in the review tab. This feature allows for users to be given a list of "what's next" after filling out the form.
  • Attach Supporting Documents from Documentum
    • Supporting documents stored in Documentum can now be attached directly to the form in the review tab. This feature has been implemented in the past as a customization, but is now a part of the core product
  • Route for Review
    • A simple route for review workflow has been added, allowing users to route a form to any number of reviewers to gather comments before sending the form for approval.
  • Quickflow Support
    • Allows the use of WebTop quickflow as a "Route for Edit".
  • Webtop Connector
    • The WebTop connector is now supported with WebTop 5.3 SP4 and D6 SP1.
  • Core Integration with PDF Annotation Services
    • Allow annotations of the form and attached workflow documents through PDF Annotation Services.
  • Documentum Relationships for Supporting and Workflow Documents
    • Relationships now exist between the form and supporting and workflow documents. All relationships are viewable in WebTop from either the parent or child document.
  • Link Form Answer Action
    • This new answer action gives administrators the ability to link the form to a given folder when a certain answer is selected. For example, if the 'West' answer is selected, link the form to the /Regions/West/forms folder.
  • Approve Form Actions
    • When Approved, the form is major versioned and gets a new approved ACL.
  • Update Property with Answer Justification
    • This update allows answer justification to drive a property update on the form object in Documentum.
  • Date Validations
    • New date validation logic enables features such as enforcing a date to be in the past or the future. Additionally, the administrator can set up logic to enforce that a certain date answer is before, equal to, or after another date answer in the form.
  • Ability to reorder repeating pages
    • This update allows users to reorder and delete repeating pages from the summary page using an Ajax interface.
