Capabilities from the integration include:

 

Reduced Graphic Artist Support – The connector provides the ability to template a graphical piece and let the data collection drive the final piece right to PDF without any Graphic Artist support.

High-Quality Print – PageFlex supports bleeds, paragraph wrapping with page intelligence and other functionality typically not available in office products. For graphic designers, PageFlex supports import of a variety of different formats including Adobe Photoshop and Quark. Typical Documentum PDF options have focused on Word or other creation tools that do not provide the robustness required for high-quality print pieces.

Data Merging – PageFlex provides the ability to create multiple personalized print pieces driven from a data file (Excel or other formats). Active Wizard provides the ability to manage this file in Documentum and initiate the appropriate process to drive the print stream.

Real-Time Web-Based Graphic Editing – The .EDIT component of PageFlex provides users with the ability to edit graphical content via the web once the ActiveForm has been completed.
