The Active Wizard was created in 2002 as a configurable approach to document control.  Over the years, we have seen many other types of forms created -

Document Control and Change Management

These types of forms are used to manage change in a controlled or regulated environment:

  • Change Request - a CR form is commonly used to manage document changes, but it has also been used to manage change to systems, equipment, validation processes, and products.  
  • Multi-Document Routing Form - this form is used to route one or more documents for review and approval at the same time.  Each document is selectively approved, meaning approvers can approve and reject on a document by document basis.  See a demo of how this works!
